QUANTUM MATERIALS
The Quantum Materials cluster studies how electronic, magnetic, optical, and thermal properties emerge from strong interactions, reduced dimensionality, topology, and nanoscale structure. Our research spans the design and growth of new quantum materials, the spectroscopic interrogation of their electronic structure and excitations, and the control of light–matter interactions in low-dimensional and nanostructured systems, with themes ranging from correlated and topological materials to 2D semiconductors, nanophotonics, ARPES, and metamaterials.
